Bomb threats hit 4 Europe flights; Warsaw airport briefly shut

What's new: A LOT jet from London diverted to Modlin, 181 people were evacuated, and authorities found no explosives.

Bomb threats disrupted at least four flights in Europe on Tuesday and briefly closed Warsaw-Modlin airport, but authorities reported no confirmed explosive devices. A LOT flight from London bound for Warsaw Chopin was diverted to Modlin, where 181 people were evacuated after the alert was received at 9:54 a.m. local time. An SAS flight from Copenhagen landed at Chopin and underwent checks, with airport operations continuing there. Elsewhere, a flight from Israel landed in Sofia after an emailed threat, and parts of Spain's Murcia airport were sealed off over a threat involving a Ryanair flight from Manchester that officials later treated as a hoax. A day earlier, a Wizz Air flight from London to Sofia diverted to Budapest after a similar alert.
