Bobby gives house and scholarship to ASMC 2026 gold medalist

North Sumatra Governor Bobby Nasution gave a house, a scholarship, tutoring fees and a tablet to Caroline Cicilia Nababan, a student at SD Negeri 18 Rantau Selatan, Labuhanbatu, who won a gold medal at the Asia Science & Mathematics Competition (ASMC) Global Round 2026. Caroline and her family met Bobby in Medan on July 30. According to Caroline and her mother, Linsiani, the scholarship was promised through college. Caroline earlier drew attention on social media after asking Bobby for a study desk. She won the ASMC gold medal at the competition in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on July 11-12, 2026. Caroline's family said it would coordinate with the Labuhanbatu district education office on delivering the prize package.
