BMKG Forecasts Light Rain in 5 Jakarta Areas, Thunder in Jaksel
Thunderstorms are expected in Jakarta Selatan in the afternoon, while four other areas are forecast to turn partly clear by night.
BMKG forecasts light rain over five Jakarta areas on Sunday afternoon: West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, East Jakarta, South Jakarta and North Jakarta. Kepulauan Seribu is expected to be mostly cloudy during the same period. From morning, West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, North Jakarta and Kepulauan Seribu are forecast to be mostly cloudy, while East Jakarta and South Jakarta are cloudy. By noon, the five administrative areas of Jakarta are expected to be cloudy and Kepulauan Seribu will begin to receive light rain. In the afternoon, light rain is expected to continue in West Jakarta, East Jakarta and North Jakarta, while South Jakarta could see rain accompanied by thunder. BMKG also forecasts Central Jakarta and Kepulauan Seribu to remain cloudy to partly cloudy until 22.00 WIB.
