Birth certificates can now be issued on a baby's birth day

Hospitals and puskesmas can send birth data directly to Dukcapil through SATUSEHAT-SIAK integration.

Babies born in hospitals or puskesmas can now receive a birth certificate on the same day. The service began after the Kementerian Kesehatan platform SATUSEHAT was linked to the Centralized Population Administration Information System, or SIAK, run by the Directorate General of Dukcapil at the Kementerian Dalam Negeri. The integration was launched at Puskesmas Pasar Minggu, Jakarta Selatan, on 11 August 2026. Under the process, health facilities record births through SIMRS, then the data is sent and validated through SATUSEHAT before entering SIAK for certificate issuance. The document can be delivered by email or WhatsApp, or picked up at the health facility. The system also matches the NIK of the mother and biological father against the national population database.
