Bareskrim arrests Tangsel narcotics chief and 7 police officers
Investigators suspect the officers were involved in drug trafficking, drug abuse and abuse of authority in narcotics cases.
Bareskrim Polri arrested the head of the narcotics unit at the Tangerang Selatan Police, AKP Pardiman, along with six of his members and one member of the Aceh Police on Monday, 27 July 2026. The Narcotics Crimes Directorate suspects they were involved in illegal drug trafficking, drug abuse, and abuse of authority in law enforcement of narcotics cases. Bareskrim Narcotics Crimes Director Brigjen Eko Hadi Santoso said the arrests were carried out by a joint team led by Subdirectorate IV chief Kombes Handik Zusen and NIC task force head Kombes Kevin Leleury. To date, Bareskrim has not disclosed the chronology or the role of each suspect and said full details will be released later.
