Barcelona rout Elche 5-0 as Raphinha, Fermin each score twice
Karim Adeyemi scored on his LaLiga debut, while Gavi was forced off with an injury before halftime.
Barcelona cruised to a 5-0 win at Elche in the second round of LaLiga 2026/27 at Manuel Martinez Valero Stadium, early Monday WIB. Raphinha and Fermin Lopez scored twice each, while the other goal came from Karim Adeyemi. The result left Hansi Flick's side on three points and temporarily up to fourth, despite having played only once. Elche suffered their first loss of the season and stayed 15th with one point. Barcelona went ahead through a Raphinha penalty in the 13th minute, then doubled the lead on Adeyemi's debut goal in the 45+3rd minute. After the break, Raphinha scored again in the 67th minute, before two Fermin goals in the 71st and 79th minutes. In the middle of the lopsided win, Gavi had to come off with an injury and was replaced by Pedri in the 45th minute.
