Banyumas farmer's son among IPDN Class 33 top graduates
Mohamad Toriq Anwar was one of three purna praja to receive his insignia directly from the President at the ceremony.
Mohamad Toriq Anwar, the son of a farmer and duck breeder from Banyumas, Jawa Tengah, became one of the top graduates of IPDN Class XXXIII. He was among three Purna Praja who had the rank insignia of Pamong Praja Muda pinned on them directly by President Prabowo Subianto at the inauguration ceremony at the IPDN Jatinangor campus in Sumedang Regency.
Toriq took the Seleksi Penerimaan Calon Praja in 2022. He said his family had difficulty paying for travel from Banyumas to Semarang to take part in the selection stages and handle the paperwork. Even so, he passed every step, from administrative screening, SKD, medical checks, psychological tests, to physical fitness exams. His SKD score was about 455, the highest in his selection session, before he finished second overall in the final selection results for Jawa Tengah Province.
