Bandung Mayor Muhammad Farhan Taken to Hospital
Farhan is still under examination by doctors, while his mayoral duties can be delegated to other local agencies.
Bandung Mayor Muhammad Farhan was taken to a hospital in Bandung, West Java, on Friday (10/7) after complaining of feeling unwell while at Bandung City Hall. In footage circulating online, Farhan was seen being moved into an ambulance for medical treatment.
Head of Bandung’s Communication and Information Office Henryco Arie Sapiie confirmed that Farhan was ill and was being treated by medical staff. To date, the doctors are still carrying out further examinations, so no information has been released about the illness. Henryco also said the mayor’s activities can temporarily be delegated to the relevant regional agencies.
