Bahlil installs Golkar Aceh leadership, targets more seats
He urged local congresses down to the village level and tied party consolidation to support for the Prabowo government.
Golkar Chairman Bahlil Lahadalia installed the 2025-2030 leadership of the DPD I Partai Golkar Aceh in Banda Aceh on Saturday, while targeting an increase in legislative seats in the next election. The leadership is headed by M. Salim Fakhri. Bahlil said internal consolidation is key to boosting the party’s seat share and asked provincial leaders to quickly hold musyawarah daerah at the regency and city, subdistrict and village levels. He also stressed two party priorities: increasing legislative seats and maintaining support for the government of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka. Separately, Salim said Golkar Aceh currently has 88 members of DPRD kabupaten/kota, members of DPR Aceh and three members of DPR RI from Aceh.
