Augsburg hold Bayern 2-2 as Fellhauer sets Bundesliga mark

Robin Fellhauer scored after 8.37 seconds following a Manuel Neuer error, breaking the league's 9-second record.

Bayern Muenchen were held to a 2-2 draw by Augsburg in the fifth week of the Bundesliga at WWK Arena on Saturday (10/10/2026) in a match marked by the fastest goal in league history. Robin Fellhauer put Augsburg ahead just 8.37 seconds after taking the ball from Manuel Neuer, breaking the nine-second record held by Karim Bellarabi and Kevin Volland. Bayern briefly equalized through Ismael Saibari, but another Neuer mistake allowed Rodrigo Ribeiro to restore Augsburg's lead in the 64th minute. The visitors escaped defeat when Harry Kane delivered a cutback that Nathaniel Brown finished 10 minutes before the end. The result kept Bayern second with 11 points, two behind Borussia Dortmund.
