Kejagung names one new suspect in Febrie TPPU case

Nurman Herin was detained for 20 days at Rutan Kejari Jaksel after Tim 9 questioned 11 witnesses, with three skipping the summons.

Kejaksaan Agung named Nurman Herin as a new suspect in the alleged money-laundering case involving former Jampidsus Febrie Adriansyah on Thursday (30/7). Rudi Margono, coordinator of Tim 9, said the designation was based on two pieces of evidence and on suspicions that Nurman Herin played a role as a participant in the TPPU. After the suspect status was set, Nurman Herin was immediately detained for 20 days at Rutan Kejaksaan Negeri Jakarta Selatan. The same day, Tim 9 also summoned 11 witnesses; eight appeared, including Tan Kian and Ferry Hongkiriwang, while three others failed to appear and will be summoned again. The case began with the designation of Febrie as a TPPU suspect after investigators found 74 kilograms of gold and Rp543 miliar in cash at a Sentul house.
