Arsenal have completed the signing of Brazil midfielder Bruno Guimaraes from Newcastle United for £75 million, adding one of the Premier League's top central midfielders to the reigning champions' squad. The 28-year-old has agreed to a four-year contract with an option for another 12 months. Guimaraes left Newcastle's training camp in La Manga, Spain, earlier this week to finalize the move to Emirates Stadium after talks advanced. He said he wanted a new challenge and the chance to win trophies. Guimaraes joined Newcastle in January 2022 and became a key figure under Eddie Howe, helping the club qualify for the Champions League in 2023 and 2025 and captaining them to the 2025 Carabao Cup title.
