What's new: Investor updates show the Claude maker's annualized revenue rose from $47 billion in May and about $9 billion at the end of 2025.

Anthropic’s annualized revenue run rate climbed past $65 billion by the end of July, extending a sharp rise ahead of a potential public listing later this year. The figure, shared with investors, was up from $47 billion in May and about $9 billion at the end of 2025, according to a person familiar with the matter. Earlier investor documents reviewed by Bloomberg showed Anthropic’s second-quarter revenue exceeded $11.5 billion, up from $787 million a year earlier and $4.73 billion in the first quarter, while the company posted positive adjusted operating income in the quarter. The Claude developer has gained ground with corporate customers and developers as it competes with OpenAI in the fast-growing AI market.
