Anne Hathaway joins Disney Legends at California's D23
The honor comes 25 years after her film debut as Mia Thermopolis in The Princess Diaries.
Anne Hathaway was officially inducted into the Disney Legends at the D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event ceremony in California, the United States, on Sunday local time. The award marks 25 years since her feature film debut as Mia Thermopolis in The Princess Diaries in 2001. On stage, Hathaway was introduced by The Devil Wears Prada director David Frankel before delivering her acceptance speech. She also mentioned her family in attendance, including her husband Adam Shulman and their two sons, Jonathan and Jack. According to ABC News, the 2026 Disney Legends honors also went to Bob Iger, Dwayne Johnson, Jonas Brothers, and Lin-Manuel Miranda during the D23 events in Anaheim.
