The Indonesian pair fell narrowly 22-20, 14-21, 20-22 to the top seeds in a 97-minute New Delhi duel.

Amri Syahnawi/Nita Violina Marwah claimed the bronze medal at the BWF World Championships 2026 after their run ended in the semifinals. At Indira Gandhi Arena in New Delhi on Saturday (22/8/2026), the Indonesian mixed doubles pair lost narrowly 22-20, 14-21, 20-22 to China’s Feng Yan Zhe/Huang Dong Ping in a 97-minute match. The result left Indonesia without a representative in the final. A day earlier, men’s singles player Alwi Farhan also exited in the quarterfinals after a straight-games loss, 15-21, 15-21, to Taiwan’s Chou Tien Chen. Despite missing the final, Amri/Nita were Indonesia’s only pair to reach the last four and bring home a medal from New Delhi.
