32-year-old motorcyclist dies after hitting road barrier in Meruya Ilir

A motorcyclist named Anas, 32, died in a single-vehicle crash on Jalan Meruya Ilir Raya, Meruya Utara, Kembangan, West Jakarta, on Sunday around 21.20 WIB. Police suspect the victim lost control while riding and then hit a road barrier. Kembangan Police traffic chief AKP Karta said the victim was a Meruya resident and was riding a motorcycle with license plate 3253 UZI. The detailed sequence of events and the exact cause of the crash have not yet been confirmed. The case has been handed over to the Traffic Accident Unit of Polres Metro Jakarta Barat for further investigation.
