3 police officers killed in Katingan drug raid, 3 suspects arrested
Three suspected attackers identified as S, N and R are in custody, while the meth dealer targeted in the operation is still being hunted.
Three members of the Katingan Police narcotics unit died during a raid on a drug network in Desa Tumbang Kalemei, Kecamatan Katingan Tengah, Kalimantan Tengah, on Thursday (2/7). They were Aiptu Yudhie Perdana Putra, Aiptu Sumaryanto and Bripda Nopandri Ramadhana. Police suspect they were attacked with sharp weapons while carrying out the operation against a suspected meth dealer. Authorities have arrested three suspected attackers identified as S, N and R, but the drug dealer targeted in the raid remains at large. Kalimantan Tengah Governor Agustiar Sabran and Kalteng Police Chief Irjen Pol Iwan Kurniawan visited Yudhie's family home in Kasongan Lama. National Police Chief Listyo Sigit Prabowo also approved a posthumous promotion and guaranteed the children's education through college.
