Two Singapore doctors and a third person are on trial over allegations they planned a gathering for drug consumption at Orchid Country Club, an offense punishable by up to 20 years in jail and 10 strokes of the cane. The accused are Loke Wei Kang, 33, Lee Wei Sheng, 35, and Le Vie, 33. Court documents say the group left Loke's parents' home in Seletar after police responded to a noise complaint on April 9, 2024, then arranged to obtain ketamine and "happy water" before meeting again at the club. Police raided the room at about 3:50 a.m. and arrested four people. The three also face drug possession and consumption charges, though they are not contesting the consumption count.
