2 Indonesian crew missing after fishing boat capsizes in Busan

The 79-ton vessel collided with a 992-ton LPG carrier; six crew members survived and one is in critical condition.

Two Indonesian crew members are missing after the fishing vessel they were aboard capsized following a collision with an LPG carrier in waters around Gijang, Busan, on Thursday morning. According to the Ulsan Coast Guard, the incident occurred at 10:10 local time and threw all eight crew members into the sea. Six people were rescued, including four Indonesian nationals and two South Koreans, while two Indonesians in their 30s are still being searched for. One survivor was reported to be in critical condition. South Korean authorities deployed patrol boats, helicopters, Navy vessels and fishing boats for the search operation. Indonesia's Foreign Ministry and the Indonesian Embassy in Seoul said they were continuing to coordinate with local authorities and were in contact with the crew members' families.
