Singapore police arrested a 15-year-old girl in connection with a false bomb threat at Xinmin Secondary School in Hougang last week. The threat on Aug. 13 prompted the school to evacuate students and staff at about 8.28 a.m. after police were alerted around 8.20 a.m. Officers and school personnel searched the campus and found no suspicious items, allowing lessons to resume later that day. Cases involving offenders under 18 are typically handled in the Youth Courts.
