Seven ministries and agencies have won Ministry of Finance approval, while work on 7,952 permanent homes is targeted to start in September 2026.
Only 5 ministries and agencies have received budgets so far, while regions are urged to use the Rp10.6 trillion in TKD already disbursed.
Though daily activity and the economy are returning to normal, housing, education and infrastructure still need follow-up work.
As a result, 32 ministries and agencies are being asked to file 2026 supplemental budgets at once so rehabilitation does not stall as rain in Sumatera Barat is forecast to rise after June 7.
