Zelenskyy says US could curb intel if Ukraine keeps hitting Russia

Why it matters: Kyiv says it will keep striking Russian energy and logistics targets unless Moscow stops attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the Trump administration warned it could halt intelligence-sharing with Kyiv unless Ukrainian forces stop long-range drone attacks on oil refineries inside Russia. In an interview with NPR in Kyiv, Zelenskyy said Ukraine wants the war to end but will keep hitting Russian energy and logistics sites as long as Russian attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure continue. He also criticized President Donald Trump’s move to ease sanctions on Russian diesel exports, calling it a weak step that would not lower fuel prices. Zelenskyy said Trump’s public claim of a partial ceasefire on energy targets caught Kyiv by surprise, while Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said contacts were still ongoing.
