Yemen military claims 1,732 strikes killed 900 Houthi

The operation came as Houthi also attacked Saudi airports and oil facilities, killing 13 people.

The Yemen military claimed it carried out 1,732 strikes in Operation Yemen Dawn and killed more than 900 Houthi members. Military spokesman Colonel Majed Abdullah al-Nuzaily, in a post on X on Sunday (11/10), said the attacks used fighter jets, drones, field artillery and rocket launchers as government forces advanced on several fronts. He said the targets included defensive fortifications, command and control centers, observation posts, artillery positions, weapons depots and supply routes. The military also claimed it destroyed more than 287 vehicles and military equipment. The escalation came as Yemen's internationally recognized government sought to retake territory held by the Houthi, while the Saudi Arabia-led coalition pledged to continue supporting the offensive.
