West Java deputy governor threatens to fire ASN tied to LGBT

West Java Deputy Governor Erwan Setiawan threatened dismissal sanctions for civil servants within the West Java provincial government who are proven to be involved in networks or are part of LGBT groups. He made the remarks in Bandung after saying the provincial government would coordinate with Forkopimda Jawa Barat to follow up on the issue. Erwan said sanctions for ASN would refer to the applicable laws and regulations. If a case is deemed to fall under criminal law, Pemprov Jabar will hand it over to law enforcement officials. He also asked the public to report to the police or the provincial government if they have accurate complaints so they can be followed up immediately.
