Romo Muhammad Syafi’i said 2026 hajj services improved, while Arab Saudi asked pilgrims for feedback to refine next season.
Deputy Religious Affairs Minister Romo Muhammad Syafi’i said the organization of the 1447 H/2026 M hajj showed improvements in a range of services for Indonesian pilgrims. In Makkah, he said progress was visible in transportation, lodging, meals, health care, and the arrangement of tents in Arafah and Mina, although services in Mina still need work. He also said the establishment of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah under President Prabowo Subianto had a real impact on the management of the national hajj system. Separately, Saudi Hajj and Umrah Minister Tawfiq Al-Rabiah invited pilgrims to share their experiences and suggestions through his official X account to help improve services for the next hajj season.
