Virginia woman accuses ICE agent of pointing gun at her head
What's new: DHS alleged she tried to use her car against officers in Falls Church and said she could face criminal charges.
A Virginia woman said a federal immigration agent pointed a gun at her head during an encounter in Falls Church after she yelled an insult at officers conducting arrests nearby. Carolina Molina, 36, told a press conference organized by immigrant advocacy groups that she had been driving near local law offices when she saw unmarked vehicles and agents making arrests. She said an agent blocked her car, got out and aimed a firearm at her while demanding to know why she was following them. Molina denied trying to hit anyone and said the allegation surfaced after she took out her phone to record. The Department of Homeland Security countered that Molina drove in circles around officers and tried to harm them with her vehicle, prompting a stop. DHS said she could face prosecution.
