Vinicius Junior will remain with Real Madrid until June 30, 2032 after both sides agreed to extend his contract. The club confirmation ends speculation over the future of the 26-year-old Brazil forward, who had been linked with Arsenal. A report by David Ornstein said all details of the new contract were agreed after a meeting on Wednesday local time, following an improved offer from Madrid. Previous talks were said to have stalled for more than a year. Since joining from Flamengo in 2018, Vinicius has played 375 matches, scored 128 goals and provided 100 assists. With Los Blancos, he has won 14 trophies, including two Champions League titles and three LaLiga crowns.
