Veda Ega starts eighth in Moto3 Czech GP qualifying at Brno
The Honda Team Asia rider will start from the third row and chase points in Sunday’s race at 16.00 WIB.
Indonesian rider Veda Ega Pratama claimed eighth on the grid for the 2026 Moto3 Czech GP after posting a lap of 2 minutes 5,270 seconds in qualifying at the Brno Circuit on Saturday. The result put the Honda Team Asia rider on the third row, behind Scott Ogden and ahead of Joel Kelso. Pole position went to David Almansa of Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP with a time of 2 minutes 04,069 seconds, 0,017 seconds ahead of Hakim Danish, while Maximo Quiles took third. Veda was 1,201 seconds off Almansa. After eight rounds, the rider from Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta is sixth in the 2026 Moto3 standings with 71 points, one behind Brian Uriarte. The main race is scheduled for Sunday at 16.00 WIB.
