US sets Nov. 10-11 Ukraine-Russia peace talks in Abu Dhabi

The United States plans to bring Ukrainian and Russian delegations to Abu Dhabi on Nov. 10 and 11 for new working-level talks on ending the war, de-escalation, humanitarian measures and postwar security arrangements. Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are expected to represent Washington, according to a senior US official. The push follows Witkoff's recent meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in St. Petersburg, after which Putin agreed to another trilateral round. Ahead of the Abu Dhabi sessions, US negotiators will meet in Brussels with officials from France, Germany, Britain, the European Union and NATO to discuss security guarantees for Ukraine, Europe's future security framework and economic support for reconstruction.
