Ukrainian drones hit 3 Russia warehouses, killing 5 near Moscow

What's new: Two of the damaged sites were run by Wildberries, extending Kyiv's campaign against a key Russian retail and logistics network.

Ukrainian drones struck three warehouses across Russia overnight, including two used by online retailer Wildberries, and killed five people in the Moscow region, regional officials said. Moscow region Governor Andrei Vorobyov said the deadliest strike hit Chekhov, where a warehouse fire also injured 10 people. In the Leningrad region near St. Petersburg, Governor Alexander Drozdenko said a warehouse facility was hit and one person was injured; Wildberries said its site caught fire but there were no casualties. Acting Tver region Governor Vitaly Korolyov said another Wildberries warehouse was damaged without injuries. The attacks follow a string of Ukrainian strikes on Wildberries facilities since July 18 as Kyiv pushes deeper attacks on Russian economic targets.
