Ukraine launches more than 400 drones at Moscow region
Oil depots and logistics facilities near Podolsk were hit, while at least 10 people were reported wounded.
Ukraine carried out one of its largest drone attacks on the Moscow region on Sunday night into Monday morning, with more than 400 drones directed at Russia's capital and surrounding areas. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said 85 drones were destroyed as they approached the city, while the Russian Defense Ministry claimed hundreds more were intercepted in various regions. Regional authorities reported damage in Podolsk, Domodedovo and Odintsovo, including homes, vehicles and civilian infrastructure. President Volodymyr Zelensky said his forces targeted logistics facilities and oil depots in the Moscow region, more than 400 kilometers from Ukraine's border. Wildberries also temporarily evacuated its logistics center in Podolsk district before operations resumed.
