Trump holds 13th Cabinet meeting of second term at Camp David

What's new: It was the first televised Cabinet meeting at the presidential retreat and the first there of his second term.

President Donald Trump held Friday’s Cabinet meeting at Camp David in Maryland, moving the gathering from the White House to the presidential retreat for the first time in his second term. The session was the 13th Cabinet meeting of Trump’s current term and marked the first televised Cabinet meeting at Camp David, the White House said. Trump opened by highlighting the setting before turning to familiar themes including the economy, border security and Iran. He also pointed to the recent migrant surge into Spain’s Ceuta enclave as a warning to U.S. voters ahead of the midterms. An earlier plan to hold a Camp David Cabinet meeting in May was canceled because of bad weather.
