Tri Tito urges regional PKK to back health and MSME programs
She also asked regional agencies to set aside budgets so PKK programs, including free health checks, reach grassroots communities.
Chairwoman of the Central PKK Mobilization Team Tri Suswati Tito Karnavian urged PKK administrators in the regions to take a more active role in overseeing government priority programs, especially health services and family economic empowerment. She made the call at the opening of an MSME exhibition, free health checks and a MURI record attempt for drinking Multiple Micronutrient Supplement pills for pregnant women in 24 regencies and cities in South Sulawesi, held in hybrid format from Hotel Claro, Makassar, on Thursday, 9 July. Tri also asked regional government work units to allocate budgets to support PKK programs. She said coordination with government agencies, professional groups and the private sector through CSR could widen access to services such as cataract surgery, free eyeglasses distribution and MSME strengthening.
