Transko Dara 3218 on 24-hour standby to protect Balongan fuel flow

PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental has kept the Transko Dara 3218 on 24-hour standby to support energy distribution from Refinery Unit VI Balongan in Indramayu, West Java. The support vessel serves oil and gas tankers that dock and undock at the special RU VI terminal, including carrying personnel to the single point mooring offshore. According to the company, Transko Dara 3218 operates an average of three times a day in rotation with other support vessels. RU VI Balongan supplies 80 percent of energy distribution in western Java, covering West Java, DKI Jakarta, and Banten, as well as shipments to Pontianak, Banjarmasin, Kotabaru, and several areas in eastern Indonesia.
