Transjakarta to Open Sky Run on Corridor 13 on July 12
The event will cap attendance at 5,000, sell tickets through the Transjakarta app and offer discounts tied to a home-based waste bank program.
PT Transportasi Jakarta will hold the Jakarta Sky Fun Run 2026 on the elevated track of Corridor 13 on Sunday, July 12, 2026. The event, themed “Running Into Tomorrow,” is part of the celebration of Jakarta’s 499th anniversary and a series of events leading to the city’s 500th year in 2027. Transjakarta has set a quota of 5,000 participants, with tickets sold through the Transjakarta app. Fadly Hasan, business and asset utilization director at PT Transportasi Jakarta, said the event gives residents a chance to experience Jakarta from a different perspective while marking the transformation of public transportation. Transjakarta is also linking the event to the Bank Sampah dari Rumah program, which gives discount vouchers for tickets to residents who sort and manage waste responsibly.
