Train tickets for Dec. 1 departures go on sale via Access by KAI
The bookings are tied to GAPEKA 2026, which changes schedules, travel patterns and several stop stations.
PT Kereta Api Indonesia began opening bookings for train tickets for departures on Dec. 1, 2026 and beyond on Sunday, Nov. 1, at 00.01 WIB through the Access by KAI app. The sales come ahead of the implementation of Grafik Perjalanan Kereta Api, or GAPEKA 2026. Under the new timetable, KAI is adjusting schedules, travel patterns and stop stations on a number of services. Vice President Corporate Communication KAI Anne Purba said the changes include additional stop stations so passengers have more options to board and alight at locations closer to their origin or destination. KAI also asked customers to recheck their schedules, travel dates, and origin and destination stations in the app before departing.
