Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair met with Danantara management in Jakarta on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, to discuss strategic cooperation aimed at accelerating SOE transformation and attracting investment. Blair came with senior officials from the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change. The meeting was attended by Danantara CEO Rosan Roeslani, Danantara COO Dony Oskaria, and Danantara CIO Pandu Sjahrir. The agenda included strengthening governance, developing strategic sectors, developing economic zones, speeding industrial downstreaming, building infrastructure, digital transformation, and reinforcing institutional capacity. Danantara said collaboration with global partners is needed so best practices and access to quality investment can enter national strategic programs more quickly.
