Tom Holland hints at a darker tone in Spider-Man 4
Set four years after No Way Home, the film is scheduled to open in Indonesian theaters on 29 July 2026.
Tom Holland gave an early look at "Spider-Man: Brand New Day", his fourth solo film as Peter Parker. At the Los Angeles premiere, he said the new film is more mature and has a darker theme than the previous three films. Holland said the story focuses on moving to a new city and a sense of loneliness, themes he said are close to young people's experiences.
The film from Destin Daniel Cretton was written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. The cast includes Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Tramell Tillman, Michael Mando, and Mark Ruffalo. According to the circulating synopsis, the story takes place in a world that no longer remembers Peter Parker, as he returns as New York's protector. The film is scheduled to open in Indonesian theaters on 29 July 2026.
