Tiffany's Rp97.49 billion customs bill due at end of June
Three Tiffany & Co stores in Plaza Senayan, Plaza Indonesia and Pacific Place have reopened after the customs audit was completed.
The Directorate General of Customs and Excise said Tiffany & Co's customs bill of Rp97.49 billion is due at the end of June 2026. The amount consists of Rp78.50 billion in administrative penalties and about Rp18.99 billion in other obligations, including import duties, import VAT and import income tax 22. The audit of the luxury jewelry company has been completed. After the audit, three Tiffany & Co stores that had been sealed reopened at Plaza Senayan, Plaza Indonesia and Pacific Place, Jakarta. The earlier sealing followed violations involving undeclared imported goods and unsettled customs obligations. The Ministry of Finance removed the seals after the company said it was able to meet the bill and penalties imposed.
