Tanah Runtuh film set for June 25 release, centers on Poso conflict
The story follows two siblings separated from their mother, including one child with Down Syndrome, amid the unrest.
Denny Siregar Production is preparing the film “Tanah Runtuh” for release in Indonesian theaters starting June 25, 2026. Directed by Rudi Soedjarwo, the film is set against a religiously tinged conflict in Poso and follows two siblings, Kai and Ringgo, who are separated from their mother amid the chaos. Ringgo is portrayed as a child with Down Syndrome. Along the way, they meet Idham, a police officer initially assigned to handle the conflict, who becomes drawn into a more personal connection centered on responsibility and care. The film stars Vino G. Bastian, Yoan, Ridho Khaliq, Sigi Wimala, Jenda Munthe, and Tike Priatnakusumah.
