Suspected toilet voyeurism case at Mega Mall Bekasi settled
Police said the victim and the 40-year-old man reconciled after security detained him and he signed a written statement.
Bekasi Metro Police settled a suspected voyeurism case in the toilet at Mega Mall Bekasi through mediation. The incident occurred on Saturday at about 19:00 WIB in the first-floor restroom of the shopping center on Jalan Ahmad Yani, Margajaya, Bekasi Selatan. The victim, identified by the initials APAS, 22, was in stall number two when she saw a man identified as MEPP, 40, peeking from the next stall. APAS then recorded the incident on a mobile phone and took the suspect to the security post. Two private-sector employees nearby witnessed the incident. After police collected the details, both sides agreed to resolve the case amicably. Police added that the suspect had signed a written statement about the incident.
