South Carolina GOP voters return for Senate runoff Tuesday

South Carolina Republicans are voting Tuesday in a special U.S. Senate primary runoff to choose their nominee for the fall general election. The final two candidates are Sen. Darline Graham, who was appointed to serve out the remainder of her brother Lindsey Graham’s current term, and Rep. Ralph Norman, a five-term congressman. In the Aug. 11 special primary, Graham led with about 33% of the vote, while Norman took about 25%, forcing a runoff because no candidate won a majority. Russell Fry, who finished third with about 20%, later endorsed Graham. She also has backing from Sen. Tim Scott and President Donald Trump. Polls close at 7 p.m. ET.
