Sophia Laforteza to miss KATSEYE activities until September review

Sophia Laforteza is temporarily stepping away from KATSEYE activities for health reasons. HYBE x Geffen said Sophia will not take part in upcoming promotional activities after consulting medical staff, who recommended a longer rest and continued treatment so she can fully recover. The agency will reassess her condition in September. In an Instagram post, Sophia said the decision was not easy, but that she had to put her health first so she can continue pursuing the career she loves. KATSEYE, formed in 2023 through Dream Academy, will continue its activities with four members. Earlier, Manon Bannerman also took a temporary break in February to focus on her health and has not returned.
