Singapore shifts HarbourFront ferry terminal in 2 stages from July 7
What's new: Batam Fast Ferry moves first, while all other ferry operators and cruise sailings switch on July 15 with routes unchanged.
Singapore Cruise Centre will move HarbourFront ferry and cruise operations to a new passenger terminal in two stages next month, beginning with Batam Fast Ferry on July 7 and extending to all other operators and cruise services on July 15. The new terminal at 5 HarbourFront Avenue sits about 70 meters from the current facility inside HarbourFront Centre, which is due for redevelopment by Mapletree Investments. Services to Indonesian destinations including Batam Centre, Harbour Bay, Sekupang, Tanjung Balai Karimun, Gold Coast and Nirup Island will keep the same routes, destinations and schedules, and berth locations will not change. The operator urged travelers to use public transport because parking is very limited.
