What's new: He was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after fleeing officers at a police training institute.
A 23-year-old full-time police national serviceman in Singapore was arrested after entering a women’s toilet at the Police Training Command in Tengah, then jumping from a third-storey ledge while trying to flee officers. Police said they received a call for assistance at about 5:40 a.m. on Oct. 19 at the institute at 501 Old Choa Chu Kang Road. Preliminary findings showed the serviceman, a staff member at the training command, had trespassed into the toilet. During the encounter, he ran to a nearby block, climbed to the third floor and leapt from a ledge. He was taken conscious to a hospital and later arrested for criminal trespass and voyeurism. The investigation is continuing.
