What's next: He is due in court Aug. 3 on a rash act charge that carries up to six months in jail and a S$2,500 fine.

Singapore police arrested a 56-year-old man after investigators linked him to a damaged bedroom window at Block 664 Woodlands Ring Road. Police said officers were alerted on July 28 after a projectile hit the residential unit's window. Ground inquiries led officers from the Woodlands Police Division to the suspect, who was arrested on Aug. 1. Investigators found that he had used a catapult to fire marbles at a flock of birds in the area, and one marble struck the window. Police seized a catapult along with marbles and pebbles. The man is set to be charged in court on Aug. 3 with committing a rash act.
