Shuttle Open 2026 to feature Taufik, Lin Dan at GBK on Aug. 1

Shuttle Open 2026 will bring together Indonesian and world badminton legends in an exhibition match at GBK Basketball Hall, Senayan, Jakarta, on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2026. The event, initiated by MAKUKU and AceKid Indonesia, will feature Taufik Hidayat, Ricky Soebagdja, Candra Wijaya, Hendra Setiawan, Liliyana Natsir, Tontowi Ahmad, and special guest from China, Lin Dan. Organizers said the event aims to revive badminton excitement while bringing the sport closer to families and children. In addition to the friendly matches, Shuttle Open 2026 will also include a charity auction. The legends will auction personal items such as rackets, match jerseys and signed photos, with the proceeds distributed through PBSI to help Indonesian badminton players in need.
