Several BEMs Deny Links to BEM Bersatu Alliance
BEM FPsi UNJ, BEM FTI UBSI and FISIP Unas said their names and institutional identities were used without authorization.
Several student organizations denied involvement in the BEM Bersatu alliance that appeared at a news conference in Utan Kayu, East Jakarta, on 16 June 2026. BEM FPsi UNJ said Ahmad Ghazy, who attended, is not an active administrator but an alumnus of the 2020 class, making his views his personal responsibility. BEM FTI UBSI also said it never attended, sent a representative or has an administrator named Ahmad, as claimed in the alliance list. From another campus, FISIP Universitas Nasional said it does not have a faculty-level BEM, so Ardi Zulkifly had no institutional authority to represent FISIP Unas. Earlier, BEM Bersatu accused parts of the student movement of serving practical political interests and singled out former BEM UGM chief Tiyo Ardianto.
