Jatiluhur Reservoir security guard found dead with hands cuffed
Police took the body to RS Sartika Asih for autopsy and are questioning witnesses to trace the suspect and motive.
A security guard at Waduk Jatiluhur, Sumarna, was found dead on the shore of Danau Tanggul Ubrug, Purwakarta, on Friday (24/7), with his hands cuffed behind his back and still wearing his uniform. Co-workers realized he had been missing since about 03.00 WIB while on overnight duty, then searched with residents until his body was found at about 11.00 WIB. Police evacuated the victim for an initial examination at RS Bayu Asih Purwakarta and sent the body to RS Sartika Asih Bandung for an autopsy. Purwakarta Police Criminal Investigation Unit chief I Made Purwantara said investigators are still collecting evidence, questioning witnesses, and tracing the suspect and motive in the victim's death.
