Sasirangan featured at IFA Archipelago debut in Banjarbaru
IFA expands its national event into the regions, with a workshop attended by about 100 women a day before the runway show.
IFA Archipelago Kalimantan Selatan showcased Sasirangan textiles at its debut event at the Ballroom Grand Maya by Artotel in Banjarbaru on 11 August 2026. The event brought collections from VIVIZUBEDI, Si.Se.Sa, Ayu Dyah Andari, Lia Soraya, Donna Prive, Arabellescarf, Dekranasda Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan, Khanaan, Motif Hawa, and Buttonscarves. Organizers positioned Banjarbaru as the first city in IFA's expansion into the regions, aimed at connecting fashion and aesthetics players with local creative potential. Alongside the runway show and exhibition, IFA held a “Personal Branding” workshop with Okky Asokawati on 10 August, attended by about 100 women. At the event, Kathrin Ambarsari received The Most Inspiring Sasirangan Designer award.
